Rates & Insurance

Therapy rates are $250 for an initial intake session and $225 for subsequent sessions.

In Network with Insurance

I am in network with most Blue Cross plans and Medicare.

If I am not in network with your insurance carrier, many insurance companies provide coverage for out-of-network therapists. I can provide you with a receipt for you to submit to your insurance carrier in order to receive whatever reimbursement is offered for out-of-network providers. It is up to you to verify coverage for therapy/telehealth.

It’s important to know that your insurance will require a mental health diagnosis to cover services and this will be in your record. They can also request notes or treatment plans to continue coverage. It’s your choice if you want to use your insurance or not for services. Insurance does not cover coaching services. No diagnosis is required for coaching services. This is different from therapy.

Cancellation Policy

Once an appointment hour is scheduled, you will be expected to pay for it at my regular rate unless you provide at least 48 hours advance notice of cancellation. Insurance companies do not reimburse for missed sessions.

Good Faith Estimate

Under the law, health care providers need to give patients who don’t have insurance or who are not submitting to insurance an estimate of the bill for medical items and services.

  • You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of any non-emergency items or services.
  • Make sure your health care provider gives you a Good Faith Estimate in writing at least 1 business day before your medical service or item. You can also ask your health care provider, and any other provider you choose, for a Good Faith Estimate before you schedule an item or service.
  • If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you can dispute the bill.

•  Make sure to save a copy or picture of your Good Faith Estimate.

For questions or more information about your right to a Good Faith Estimate, visit
